Say 'Hello!', to our new Shared Lives Surrey team!

We're delighted to welcome our new Shared Lives team in Surrey to the Ategi family.

This marks an exciting new chapter as we begin working alongside people, families, carers and communities across Surrey to grow a service built on relationships, belonging and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live life their way.

Shared Lives is unlike any other form of care. It matches adults who need support with carefully approved Shared Lives carers who open their homes, share family and community life, and provide personalised support that helps people build confidence, independence and lasting connections.

Our new Surrey team brings a wealth of experience, local knowledge and a shared passion for supporting people to lead fulfilling lives. Over the coming months, they'll be working closely with existing carers, welcoming new people into the scheme, and encouraging more local people to discover how becoming a Shared Lives carer can change lives – including their own.

We're also looking forward to meeting partners, community organisations and professionals across Surrey as we work together to create more opportunities for people to live independently, make meaningful connections and feel part of their communities.

To everyone joining us on this journey – whether you're already part of Shared Lives or are discovering it for the first time – welcome. We can't wait to get to know you.
