Head of Quality and Compliance
Richard has worked in the care sector since 1996. His previous roles have included Support Worker, Registered Manager for a Residential Care Home, Regional Manager within the Domiciliary Care Sector, Registered Manager of a Respite Service as well as managing a social enterprise providing training, support and work opportunities to individuals within their local community.
Richard has held management roles within the care sector since 2004. He has also delivered various training subjects to equip employees with the knowledge and skills to undertake their roles effectively.
Richard started working with Ategi as the Registered Manager of Shared Lives Wales in 2020, before becoming the Head of Quality & Compliance in December 2021.
He has worked with various client groups including people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, people with mental ill health and older people to name a few.
Richard has a passion for providing outstanding care and support and strive to embed my values and work practices within the services he is involved in. Richard holds continuous improvement at the forefront of all he does.
On a personal note, I am very family orientated and on the weekends, I like to spend time with my family and friends.

Connor has spent the last 7 years working in the third sector and has led a regional older person’s charity as its Chief Officer for the last 5 years. Connor has significant knowledge of the challenges facing the health and social care system, particularly around issues facing older people.
Chris has over thirty years’ experience in working in the health and social care sector, including 18 years as Chief Executive Officer of one of the larger third sector charities supporting people with learning disabilities and their families.
Putting people at the heart of decision making and advocating for their rights has been at the core of his approach.
