Gail Reece

Gail first joined Ategi in May 1999 as a support worker, she loved it straight away, making a difference to all the individuals she supported. Ategi put her through a lot of training as a support worker to give her the skills and knowledge to carry out her job in a professional manner. Then Gail moved on to becoming a team leader which was another rewarding role over seeing staff and all service users, so it was a big umbrella effect, she had the best of both worlds, making a difference to staff and service users. Gill become the Supported Living manger in 2009, she under took an NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care, IOSH Managing Safely, PTTLS, Synergy Management Skills. Gail has experience working with people with mental ill health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and substance misuse. The focus in her role is to make a difference to everyone’s lives who comes into Supported Living. She manages a very loyal and committed team who also want to make a difference to everyone’s lives.
On a personal note, when Gail is away from Ategi, she spends lots of hours with her animals; her dog, horse and 12 chickens. Gail is definitely an animal lover and they take a lot of her time and she enjoys every minute with them all. Also, her family is very important to her so when she’s not with her animals she’s with her family.
