ategi Social Activities Scheme

The ategi Social Activity Scheme aims to enable vulnerable adults, to take part in community based social activity groups with the support from volunteers.

Some of the activities include going to the theatre, the pub, bowling, visiting places or just getting together for a meal.

 The scheme seeks to assist people to feel less isolated, make new friends and get involved in what’s happening in the community. It is also about supporting people to gain confidence, self esteem and to feel confident about speaking up for themselves.

The ategi Social Activity Scheme aims to support people to;

  • be a valued member of their community
  • develop relationships
  • be treated with respect
