ategi have been established since 1 April 1994 and are a registered charity providing a range of support services to people with learning disabilities and mental health issues.

The company currently supports over 125 people and employs over 105 staff and 45 adult placement hosts plus has Social Activities Volunteers to provide its services.

These services include:

  • Adult Placement Service now called Shared Lives Scheme
  • Supported Living
  • Visiting Support in a range of employment, education and leisure areas
  • Social Activities a Voluntary scheme helping to access leisure activities

    The company services are provided in Rhondda Cynon Taff, Caerphilly, Torfaen, Cardiff and Buckinghamshire. It has an office base in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

    The company is an accredited agency with all five local authorities for its area of operation. Furthermore the company are award winning members of The Wales Quality Centre of Excellence, have the Investors in People Award and have accredited assessment centre status for NVQ. ategi are also a registered Domiciliary Care Agency with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales – CSSIW.
